For those aware of Spirit cooking and Pizzagate, the latter that HAS been discussed by Julian Assange, an interesting piece. To truth, safety and justice.

whoa…

This is my favorite post of all time. Once you see this there’s no going back. Our government isn’t a government. Its a corporation. Our congressmen aren’t elected officials they are CEOs who buy their way into office.

The thing is, I DO care about the environment but I cannot stand it when white people pretend they are all connected to the earth and refuse to understand that many of us — Migrant Brown People — come from backgrounds where “environmentalism” is not talked about because we grow up doing unintentional “green” things. For some reason mainstream culture has done a great job of erasing people of color’s legacy on anything “green” or “environmental.” Mainstream media falsely frames sustainable practices as practices spearheaded by white people. A very annoying example of this is permaculture, a “design system” that you can learn if you have thousands of dollars — mind you, a lot of the principles of permaculture are practiced by people of color worldwide, from reusing water to wash dishes and water plants to using food scraps to enrich soil for plants.

People of color that come from families that need to recycle and reuse to make ends meet have incredible amounts of knowledge. I know many folks that talk about sustainability in their communities and practice sustainable living, but our stories are not legitimized by books or newspaper articles nor are they studied in a Global Sustainability class. Acknowledging people of color’s legacy in the mainstream would undermine the classist, racist and xenophobic ideals that our society stands on. We pass down traditions and knowledge that are unintentionally green or sustainable. We do not call them “eco-friendly” practices, we just do them. I call this passed down knowledge, Abuelita Knowledge because so much of these “new age” practices are the ways in which my grandmas and elders live their lives .

Being successful in a society that is detrimental to the individual, the collective, and the planet cannot be fulfilling. There will always be an emptiness, a desire for ‘more’.

If I never amount to what others want for me, it will not hurt me. I will always seek happiness from within. I will sit and find what inside me happiness is. “do not lay your treasures where rust and moth dus corrupt.”

This is what it has come to…

dontbedumb:

A little league association recently had to address some fisticuffs at a 10 and under baseball game. Seems there was a bad coaching call that resulted in 1 more inning where the leading team was upset by the other via an error made sending the scoring run home.

The losing teams pitcher was walking the handshake line socked a kid in the gut, and then another in the chest… Uncool!

The player who made the losing error was fit to be tied and was clearly upset at his fumble. Another player saw the sad player crying and went up to give some consoling words. At this point the sad player reaches out and deck the other player out of the blue when his back was toward him.

The fellow that just got hit turned to pause to a ready stance and when the angered player ran up and tried to get in another swing his victim shoved him with both hands putting his attacker on his butt. 10 year old baseball is some pretty mean stuff I’ll tell you.

During all of this the one kid out of three was clearly protecting himself. But he was the first to get yelled at and blamed by his coach for acting out of line. With the offending child gone from sights a group of children got together and stood by one to set the record straight with this coach.

The player who stood his ground stood there with broad shoulders devastated he had be reprimanded for any thing and is quoted as saying with tears in his eyes “Here’s the deal Coach, I have been raised that if someone starts hitting you, you hit them back!” The other kids chimed in and then the coach immediately apologized and said “well if he started it by laying his hands on you, he deserved what he got”.

Players go home, email starts coming in and accusations are made.

By the next morning a letter had been sent to the little league board about the previous nights offense. Immediately an inquiry was started on what just what exactly happened. During this inquiry it was told to the parents of the vigilant child he would not escape punishment for his action… What action, stopping an attacker when an adult didn’t do it for him? What are thy trying to tell this kid he did by stopping an attack using minimal means? This is the new bad?

I’m getting to my point right now. Why, with the world as it is today would you start brain washing kids by telling them it is not ok to stick up for yourself? It is clearly not for their safety, because you don’t want them to stop being beat until help arrives! Folks this is how the last part of GEN Y and ones that follow are being taught. That if you stand up to an aggressive force you will be punished the same as the aggressor as soon as the establishment steps in.

Do not ever except this, not for one second. Do not let your kids start life thinking protecting themselves is going to get them in trouble.

This is a travesty as I see it, a huge social cancer that has made its way to one of our time honored traditions… I’ll keep you posted as I hear more. For the record when I interviewed the kid who stood up for himself he told me to send this to Dana or Tomi Lahren on TheBlaze.!!It would seem he has a good support group at home and clearly makes logical choices.

I second this from personal experience here.

Amy Schumer Tackles Gun Violence in a “Funny and Unique” Way

This whole shtick that she did is dangerous.  It’s dangerous because it perpetuates false information.  It’s total propaganda.

Look, if you get a DUI and your license is suspended and you go out and drive a car, that’s a criminal act; not a loophole.  We don’t have loopholes.  We have criminal acts.

Furthermore, if you are a prohibitive possessor who gets their hold of a firearm and just decide to carry it, that’s not a loophole.  That’s a criminal act.
